Experienced Lab Technician

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant/Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a science background who are comfortable working 12-hour shifts and are available a few times per week located at Rowville

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with laboratory processes and sample handling
Support reference testing procedures, particularly within infectious diseases (training provided if required)
Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance and safety standards
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory environment

Requirements:
Background in science (e.g., biology, microbiology, or related field) preferred
Understanding or exposure to reference testing is highly regarded
Ability to work 12-hour shifts starting from approximately 6:00 AM
Availability to work several shifts per week
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
